Lean Institute Ukraine (LIU), Ukraine
Lean Institute Ukraine (LIU) is a new member of LGN who has joined the network at the end of 2016. The mission of LIU is to help spreading Lean thinking and practice in Ukraine through publishing books, organizing summits, leading trainings & workshops and providing access to international expert knowledge.
The focus of LIU is on developing people, growing their understanding of Lean and thus growing local knowledge and expertise.
Another priority is sharing Lean thinking within Ukrainian business community. LIU helps Ukrainian companies, who currently face a number of challenges, to go through deep transformation process and to raise their competitiveness on local and international markets.
LIU team believes that deeper understanding and use of Lean thinking is a vital, effective strategy to develop the capabilities of the Ukrainian workforce and to contribute into social and economic development of the country.
President of Lean Institute Ukraine. Serhii has been engaged in the Lean movement since 2013 after meeting with well-known lean practitioner Peter Willats. As lean manager he assisted Mr. Willats in lean projects in real estate, educational sphere and manufacturing. Since then Serhii has been gaining his experience in lean implementation in Ukrainian companies.
He also is a director of K Fund - Ukrainian fund set up to support projects related to development of education and the economy on the country. K.Fund is designed to open access to contemporary education as well as provide new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Executive Director of Lean Institute Ukraine. Ruslana started her Lean practice in 2013 in the real estate development industry. Since then she has participated in several projects on Lean implementation in Ukraine and currently involved in managing Lean transformation project in one of the largest ventilation production companies.
