Csaba Szalay

Csaba Szalay started to work with LEI Hungary in 2013 at E.ON Hungary where they worked on developing people’s problem solving capability with the A3 management process. By that time as the leader of the company’s lean expert team he supported a lean transformation program that affected more than 3000 people in Customer Services and Distribution Service Organizations.
In 2006 he was co-founder and became managing director of one of the leading lean consulting firms in Hungary called Hexolut Ltd. Since that time he has supported several manufacturing companies (car and engine manufacturers, sheet metal processing and welding companies, assembly companies, a manufacturer of luxury porcelain, companies from the food industry), and service companies (banking, a DIY retail store chain, a market leader publishing company and printing houses) through workshops, trainings and coaching of the management in their lean journey.
Prior to that from 2002 till 2006 he worked as a Lean manager at Zollner Elektronik, a German multinational automotive company. During that time he supported lean activities in the sheet metal processing, plastic molding and PCB production business units of the company.
He has studied Economics at the university of Pannonia and completed part of his business education in English in Helsinki, Finland.
He gives lectures in lean at University of Pannonia and at Corvinus University of Budapest since 2010. He is lecturer of the Bosch Lean Academy from 2014 when it was started as a pilot project.
