Lean Healthcare Summit on 26 October 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa

Lean Institute Africa is delighted to announce that world-renowned, lean healthcare leader Dr John Toussaint will be our keynote speaker at the Lean Healthcare Summit on 26 October 2015.

Dr Toussaint is the CEO of the Thedacare Centre for Healthcare Value in Wisconsin, USA, which is dedicated to helping healthcare providers across the world to improve service delivery. While CEO of the Thedacare healthcare system, which consists of 7 hospitals and 37 clinics, with 7200 staff, delivering 1.4 million patient visits annually, Dr Toussaint led their 12 year lean transformation journey to the best quality of care and cost-effective healthcare provision out of 250 hospitals groups in America as evaluated by the Center for Medicare Services in 2014.

The Lean Healthcare Summit is not just for senior hospital executives, but rather for all healthcare managers, whether in the clinical or allied discipline. In addition to an illuminating keynote address, leading local healthcare and lean leaders will talk about quality improvement, healthcare innovation, national core standards and improved service delivery across both the private and public sectors.
