Szabolcs Molnár

Szabolcs Molnár is the president and co-founder of Lean Enterprise Institute Hungary, a non-profit organization founded in 2011 to promote lean thinking in Hungary.

Prior to LEI Hungary, Szabolcs was co-founder and one of the managing directors for 6 years of a leading lean consulting firm in Hungary called E-Con Group. He has assisted over 30 companies in their lean journey (both manufacturing and service organizations) through workshops, projects and management coaching. In 2009 E-Con has published Lean Thinking in Hungarian and organized a Lean Thinking Summit involving Prof. Daniel Jones and over 200 participants. Szabolcs Molnár has peer-reviewed this book and he is also the co-author of its foreword.

Prior to his consulting career he has also worked for Opel, Alcoa and MTD. He has gained the core of his lean experience over several lean projects in the USA, Mexico, Germany and Hungary. He has also completed part of his education in the United States.

Szabolcs Molnár is author and co-author of several articles in lean management, has presented in a number of conferences and also teaches Lean Thinking at Corvinus University of Budapest.
